Amazon backs Italian tree planting initiative with EUR 2 mln pledge

Amazon has announced plans to invest EUR 2 million in an Italian programme to plant 22 million across 14 metropolitan areas. The move is part of the company's pledge to be carbon neutral by 2040 and the investment comes from its EUR 100 million 'Right Now Climate Fund', a fifth of which will be allocated to European projects.
