Amazon could take up to 25% of UK mobile market - study

A study for the UK from Decision Technology revealed Amazon could be a formidable contender on the market due to its competitive pricing and ease of use, and despite its negative brand connotations. The study found that the company could do particularly well in markets where online sales or services are already established, such as on the mobile market. Should Amazon launch on the UK market, it could take a quarter of the UK mobile market if it offered perks, and rank at number one. Even without perks or incentives, the company would take up fifth place, with a 12 percent share of the mobile
