Amazon developing 3 new wind farms for AWS

Amazon has announced three new wind farms to support its AWS global infrastructure, in Ireland, Sweden and the US. Together, the three projects will over 670,000 MWh per year annually and support AWS's goal to power 100 percent of its global infrastructure with renewable energy. The company said it has 9 renewable energy projects running and that it passed 50 percent renewable for its global infrastructure last year. Together, all the projects will generate more than 2,700,000 MWh of renewable energy annually. Amazon said it expects to start more projects this year.
