Amazon donates over USD 100 mln to charities through AmazonSmile

Amazon confirmed that it has donated more than USD 100 million to charities through the AmazonSmile programme in the US, UK and Germany. From 29 October to 02 November, Amazon will donate 5 percent of the net purchase price of eligible products to the charities selected by customers when they buy through the AmazonSmile platform. This is 10-times greater than the usual rate of 0.5 percent.
