Amazon has 17 million Prime members in Germany

Amazon counts 17 million Prime subscribers in Germany, which is equivalent to 40 percent of all users, according to research by Statista. The majority of Prime members buy more than once a month from Amazon. 42 percent of the German users are aged between 16 and 24, followed by those aged 25 and 34 (34%), 35 and 44 (31%), 45 and 54 (24%), and 19 percent aged above 55. Some 44 percent of the Prime members in Germany are female as opposed to 56 percent men.
