Amazon Prime service launched in Mexico

Amazon has launched its Prime membership service in Mexico, offering subscribers unlimited free shipping on over 20 million products and streaming video for MXN 899 a year. The service is free to test for 30 days and, by way of a promotion, Amazon is offering a 50 percent reduction (MXN 449) for the first year of membership. The company added that Prime subscribers in Mexico will have access to free same-day delivery in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Puebla and Queretaro. They can also order items from the US with free standard six-to-nine day shipping.
