Amazon releases Fling SDK for iOS, Android apps

Amazon has released the Amazon Fling SDK, a toolkit allowing mobile developers to build multi-screen experiences for the Amazon Fire TV media streaming box. The SDK allows sending video, audio and images from iOS and Android mobile apps to Amazon Fire TV. In addition to flinging media content to Amazon Fire TV, developers can use two-way communications between Amazon Fire TV and mobile apps to create second screen experiences.
