Amazon to acquire 5% stake in India's Bharti Airtel for USD 2 billion – report

Amazon is in early-stage talks to buy a stake worth at least USD 2 billion in Indian operator Bharti Airtel, three people with knowledge of the discussions told Reuters. The planned acquisition would give Amazon a 5 percent stake based on the current market value of Bharti Airtel.
