Amazon Web Services passes USD 10 bln in annual sales

Amazon Web Services, the internet company's cloud services unit, will surpass USD 10 billion in sales this year. It's growing at an even faster pace than Amazon.com, according to a letter from CEO Jeff Bezos to shareholders. Started just over 10 years ago, AWS has grown from a storage service to a full cloud provider of computing, databases, analytics, mobile, Internet of Things and enterprise applications.
