America Movil gets go-ahead to move into Argentinian pay-TV market

Argentina's National Communications Agency (Enacom) has given the approval for America Movil to change its statute so that it can move forward with plans to provide pay-TV services in the country starting next year. In a statement published in the country's official gazette, Enacom said it allowed America Movil to extend its corporate purpose to include the provision of audiovisual services via any kind of platform in addition to mobile, fixed voice and broadband services.
