America Movil reduces KPN stake to 16%

Monday 17 September 2018 | 08:49 CET | News
Mexican telecommunications giant America Movil has reduced its stake in Dutch operator KPN to just above 16 percent, reports Reuters, citing a regulatory filing. America Movil previously reported a stake of 21.4 percent and CFO Carlos Garcia Morena revealed the company was considering a sale at the end of last year. It has held KPN shares following a takeover attempt in 2013 that was opposed by the company's boards and the Dutch government.
