America Movil sees good relations with KPN management

America Movil sees no problems getting along with the KPN management, despite the latter's resistance to a partial takeover bid from the Mexican operator. America Movil CFO Carlos Garcia Moreno told Dutch paper De Telegraaf that the two companies had "clicked" and the only difference of opinion was on the amount of the bid, on which shareholders had already given their own opinion. In its latest stock market filing America Movil announced a stake of 21 percent in KPN. The CFO said the company expects to meet its target of an almost 28 percent stake by the time the public bid closes on 27
