America Movil sees IFT approval for Telmex deal by end-Q1 2018

America Movil could get regulatory approval for the separation of its Telmex unit into retail and wholesale operations by the end of 2017, chief executive Daniel Hajj said. Talks with telecoms regulator IFT are continuing and a deal could be in place by the end of the fourth quarter or during the first three months of 2018, Reuters reported Hajj as saying.
