America Movil set to pay higher divided for 2016 - CFO

Friday 18 November 2016 | 09:15 CET | News
Mexican telecommunications operator America Movil doesn't expect to make large acquisitions this year and is thus set to pay a higher dividend than it did for the 2015 financial year, according to chief financial officer Carlos Garcia Moreno. "If we don't do a large acquisition... that means we'll have to do something extra in the distribution," said Garcia Moreno at an event in Barcelona, according to Reuters. "Our net result has been increasing over the past couple of years and what we have promised is also improvement versus 2015," he added.
