America Movil slams 'unjustified' regulatory subsidies

America Movil's mobile unit Telcel has announced that it's considering the possibility of challenging the new interconnection rates for mobile services set by telecommunications watchdog IFT in view of their asymmetric nature. "Telcel is analysing the means of challenge within its reach to continue its defence in the face of unjustified regulatory subsidies, including compensation for the damages and harms occasioned by said subsidies," said Telcel in a statement.
