America Movil to charge MXN 50 for free roaming

Mexican operator America Movil plans to invest USD 6 billion over the next three years, according to CEO Daniel Hajj. He said at the presentation of Q2 results that the company was still looking at how to sell some assets in Mexico, but was in no rush, reports Reuters. Hajj also announced that roaming charges in the US would be eliminated from all postpaid plans, but customers would have to pay MXN 50 extra per month for the 'Sin Fronteras' offer. He added the company hopes to do the same for prepaid customers, which make up more than 80 percent of its subscriber base, and extend the deal to
