America Movil wants better price for E-Plus - report

Americal Movil (AMX), owned by Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, is not opposed to the sale of KPN's E-Plus unit to Telefonica "in principle" but does believes the EUR 8.1 billion offer is too low, the Financial Times reported, citing sources familiar with the situation. AMX is a major KPN shareholder, with a stake of almost 30 percent in the company. Slim held talks with Telefonica before the takeover announcement but wanted a better deal, the sources said. Analysts in general consider the price for E-Plus to be high and said Slim should think twice before killing the deal. The deal would
