America Movil welcomes changes to Mexican telecom law

America Movil has welcomed the constitutional reforms in telecom law presented by president Pena Nieto and the leaders of the parties in the Pact for Mexico coalition. The new phase of growth in the country's telecom and broadcasting industry will see greater investment and innovation. The laws increase Mexican's rights of freedom of speech, promote education and culture through greater internet access. The company reiterated the importance of telecoms to economic development and the 100 percent rise in inward telecom investment. Telmex repeated its ongoing commitment to 'intensive
