American Airlines picks IBM as cloud provider

IBM entered into an agreement with American Airlines to become its cloud provider. As part of the partnership, American Airlines will move selected enterprise applications to IBM's Cloud. The airline will be able to leverage the footprint of IBM Cloud, which consists of more than 50 data centres spanning 17 countries, as well as a wide range of application development capabilities through IBM Bluemix.
