IP and cloud video software provider Amino said it is supplying Finnish operator DNA with its Move cloud television platform to support the recent launch of its DNA TV-Hubi. The hub supports 4K content and provides Finnish channels, pay-TV content, VoD, network PVR, and YouTube, Deezer and Netflix apps.

In addition to developing new DNA TV-Hubi interface, Amino has integrated DNA-operated Verimatrix DRM to the Move platform. Live TV streams to DNA TV-Hubi come from the DNA platform. These services can now be viewed in the same way on any device.

Previously, Amino has deployed its e2e platform, including NPVR, transcode and web services particularly, to DNA’s mobile TVE offering.

DNA's VP of Entertainment Business Jarno Haikonen said DNA wanted to make it easier to switch between different types of content and from one screen to another. It can now sell its pay-TV services to all Finns, either through cable, terrestrial or IPTV.
