Amsterdam start-up Daalder launches m-payments app

The Dutch start-up Daalder has launched a mobile payments app. The web-based app works on Android and iOS devices and supports wireless payments in shops and money transfers. Users need to deposit money in the electronic wallet associated with the app. This is possible using the online banking platform iDeal, and Daalder plans to add a link to bank accounts later. Daalder has already tested the app with several hundred consumers at a number of horeca outlets and shops. It's now available in a commercial pilot at several associated retailers.
