Anatel approves new regulation on electromagnetic exposure

The board of directors of Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has approved a new regulation on the Evaluation of Human Exposure to Electrical, Magnetic and Electromagnetic Fields (CEMRF), concerning the operation of radio communication stations. The objective is to incorporate new international standards set out the ITU and IEC. Anatel is responsible for carrying out and monitoring measurements.
