Android expands share in EU5 in Q2, despite Huawei hit - study

Although the Android operating system still accounted for the majority of smartphone sales in the top five European markets in the second quarter, the sales ban on Huawei has started hitting the company, according to the latest study from Kantar. The Android OS made up 80.1 percent of all smartphone sales in Germany, the UK, France, Italy and Spain, up by 0.6 percentage point from the year before. The performance was driven by strong growth in France.
