Android grows market share in Europe, US in Q4

The latest smartphone sales data from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech shows Google's Android OS continues to strengthen its lead in the smartphone market in Europe's biggest countries and the US, while China is the only growth market for Apple. Android increased its share of smartphone sales year-on-year in the three months to December 2015 in Germany (72.6%), France (69.9%), the UK (51.9%), Spain (86.3%), Italy (76.9%), the US (59.1%), Japan (44.4%) and Australia (53.5%), while Apple lost share in all these markets. In China, Apple's iOS added 5.6 percent points year-on-year to take 27.1 percent
