Android Market passes 10 bln apps downloaded
Google announced that the Android Market has passed the milestone of 10 billion apps downloaded. The app store is currently growing at a rate of 1 billion app downloads per month. To celebrate the milestone, the market is starting a 10-day sale. Each day it will offer a number of apps for only USD 0.10 each. The first day's offers include Asphalt 6 HD, Color & Draw for Kids, Endomondo Sports Tracker Pro, Fieldrunners HD, Great Little War Game, Minecraft, Paper Camera, Sketchbook Mobile, Soundhound Infinity and SwiftKey X.

Glu enters Android Market's 10 Billion App Downloads Promo

Games developer Glu Mobile has been selected to participate in Android Market's 10 Billion App Downloads Promotion. As part of the promotion, Google will be discounting ten apps per day for ten cents for ten days, including top Glu games, Deer Hunter 3D and Super KO Boxing 2.
