Android One phones come to Turkey

Local manufacturer General Mobile has launched the first Android One phones in Turkey. Google developed the Android One platform last year to help encourage affordable smartphones for emerging markets. Turkey is the seventh country and first outside Asia to receive the phones. The General Mobile device, which will be marketed by Turkcell, costs TRY 699 (EUR 231). It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, LTE, 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5 megapixel front camera, 2 GB RAM and Android 5.1.
