Android share dips in Spain at expense of iOS, Windows Phone

The market share of Google's Android OS in Spain dipped again in the three months to April, mainly at the expense of Apple's iOS and Windows Phone. The latest data from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech revealed that Android's dominance of the Spanish market dropped to 86.1 percent in the surveyed period, down by 5.9 percent compared to the figure of 92.0 percent recorded a year earlier. The decline is likely to be offset in the coming months by the resurgence in Spain of Android-powered Motorola handsets and the emergence of smaller manufacturers, with Kantar noting that Huawei has now secured a 5
