Android smartphone market share declines to 56% in US in Q2

Smartphone shipments fell 5 percent annually to reach 24 million units in the US during the second quarter, according to a research from Strategy Analytics. The Android operating system lost ground to Apple iOS and Android's market share fell 4 points on an annual basis to 56 percent.
