ANGA advocates for Gigabyte network, tech neutrality

In the lead-up to next year's German parliamentary elections, cable operators' association ANGA has laid out its policy priorities, including greater gigabyte infrastructure and technology neutrality in regulation. ANGA, which represents 200 cable operators including Vodafone, Unitymedia, Tele Columbus, NetCologne and wilhelm.te, emphasised the need for parliament to promote progress towards a Gigabyte Society, where download speeds of 1 Gbps are available nationwide.
