Ansip addresses digitisation at Vienna Pioneers Festival

During the Vienna Pioneer Festival, the EU Commissioner for the Digital Single Market, Andrus Ansip, said that he is against taxing robots and artificial intelligence, reported Der Standard. On the proposed compensation for the loss of low-qualified jobs as an effect of digitisation, he said that the introduction of a basic, unconditional income paid by the state is "not yet" a response to digitisation challenges. "We shall work more, not less," he said.
