APAC region leads global IoT spending, to top USD 398 bln by 2023

The Asia/Pacific region will be the global leader for Internet of Things (IoT) spending in 2019 with around 35.7 percent of the worldwide spend, followed by the US and Western Europe with 27.3 percent and 21.2 percent, respectively, according to a report from IDC. The report also shows that China is the region's top spender with USD 168.6 billion in 2019, followed by South Korea and India with a spending of USD 26.2 billion and USD 20.6 billion, respectively.
