Appeals reform will reduce operator lawsuits in Mexico

Mexico's amendment to legislation on appeals will reduce telecom operator lawsuits against the state, writes El Informador. The new appeals law will enable regulations to be applied more efficiently, but it means regulatory decisions must be made correctly in the first place, said Megacable CEO Enrique Yamuni. The law will have a negative effect to the extent that it makes it harder to overturn wrong decisions, he explained.
