Apple appoints Netflix engineer to support its own Apple+ service - report

Apple has appointed Ruslan Meshenberg, an engineer who helped Netflix build out its platform, to support its Apple+ own TV streaming service, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Meshenberg joined Apple's internet-services operations this week. Sources said that Michael Abbott, a former engineer at Twitter, was hired last year to help with the internet-services operations and that he has been adding experienced engineers to Apple's technical team.
