Apple considers making own original content - report

Apple is exploring getting into the original programming business, Variety reports. The magazine's sources said that Apple has held preliminary conversations in recent weeks with executives in Hollywood to assess their interest in leading efforts to produce entertainment content. The unit holding the talks reports to Eddy Cue, who leads all Apple's content-related matters, from negotiations with programmers for Apple TV to the recently launched Apple Music.
