Apple creates team for renewing App Store - report

Apple created a secret team to make some changes to the App Store, Bloomberg writes citing unnamed sources. The company wants to introduce a Google-like paid search model to enable developers gain more visibility in search results by having their apps shown at the top of search results when end-users search for things that are similar to their products. In addition to paid search, the team wants  to improve the way in which customers browse in the App Store. About 100 employees are working on the project, including engineers from Apple's advertising group iAd that's being scaled back.
