Apple integrates Beats Music as iTunes downloads slide 13%

Apple's iTunes Store recorded music sales down 13 percent to 14 percent world-wide since the beginning of the year, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Global revenue from downloads fell 2.1 percent in 2013, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. The source said that Apple is integrating the recently bought Beats Music, with plans to relaunch the service next year as part of iTunes.
