Apple iTunes Radio adds partners for September launch

Apples iTunes Radio is set to debut in September with a handful of high-profile brand partners including McDonalds, Nissan, Pepsi, Procter & Gamble and possible one or two additional brands, according to people familiar with the negotiations, reported AdAge.com. The deals range from the high single-digit millions of dollars to tens of millions of dollars and include a twelve month advertising campaign to run within the streaming music service for each of the participating brands. Launch partners of the new Apple product will get exclusivity within their respective industries throughout 2013.
