Thursday 25 May 2017 | 10:09 CET | News
Apple has launched an app development curriculum for US high school and community college students looking to pursue careers in the app economy. The full-year course is designed to teach students how to start using Swift, one of the world's most popular programming languages, to create fully functional iPhone apps. Apple said six US community college systems serving nearly 500,000 students across the country will offer the curriculum starting in autumn. The curriculum is available now as a free download from Apple's iBooks Store.
