Apple Pay available in 2 mln retail locations

Apple said its mobile-payment service is used by over 2 million retail locations, with merchants such as Crate & Barrel, Chick-fil-A and Au Bon Pain rolling it out in stores, writes Bloomberg. Online retailer Zappos.com also added Apple Pay on its iPhone and iPad apps on 2 February. Head of mobile for Zappos, Aki Iida, said he may consider working with Apple's rivals such as Google's Android Pay. Apple passed its end-2015 target of 1.5 million retail locations that offer Apple Pay. Apple said the service's in-app purchase volume more than doubled in the last six months of the year compared
