Apple plans 2nd Danish data centre at cost of DKK 6 billion

Apple is planning to build a second Danish data centre, in Aabenraa in the south of the country, following construction of one in Viborg, news agency Ritzau reported. The Ministry of Climate and Energy gave broadcaster DR confirmation of Apple's plans. The Aabenraa facility could be even larger, Ritzau said, although initially, the two data centres are expected to be the same size and have similar energy consumption.
