Apple plans appeal for US sales ban on Samsung phones

Apple is appealing the latest decision in US court in its patent battle with Samsung, the New York Times reports. After winning in May USD 120 million in damages from Samsung for patent infringement, Apple requested a sales ban in the US on the offending phones. However, the judge ruled that Apple did not show it would be "irreparably harmed" and denied the request to bar the Samsung devices in the US.
