Apple poaches from BBC Radio, Spotify from Deezer - report

Apple has poached four producers from BBC Radio 1, including key talent from BBC Introducing, ahead of its launch of streaming radio services, reports MBW. The move comes less than 2 months after hiring on of the station's star DJs, New Zealander Zane Lowe. The four new hires are thought to be James Bursey, Lowe's former producer, who would move to Los Angeles, and three other producers, possibly including include Kiera Yeates and Natasha Lynch, who would stay in London. They are set to start at Apple after 24 May. Yeates is responsible for Radio 1's successful BBC Introducing programme.
