Apple request for Samsung sales ban to be heard in December

Apple's request for a permanent ban on US sales of some Samsung's mobile phones will be considered at a court hearing on 06 December, Judge Lucy Koh announced. Apple is seeking a ban on eight models of Samsung smartphones and a tablet computer after a federal court jury found that Samsung infringed six of seven Apple patents at stake in the trial and awarded Apple damages of USD 1.05 billion.
