Apple sends out invites for 10 September event

Apple has sent out invitations for an event at its headquarters in California on 10 September. The invite states the event is 'by innovation only'.

The company is widely expected to present its new range of iPhones at the event, as is traditional for this time of year ahead of the year-end shopping season. Its last new smartphones were presented on 13 September last year.

These include new 'Pro' models of the iPhone expected in September, as well as refreshed versions of the iPad Pro, an entry-level iPad with a larger screen, new versions of the Apple Watch, and a cheaper HomePod coming next year.
