Apple starts work on own in-house mobile modem - report

Apple has begun working on an in-house mobile modem in a bid to reduce its dependability on Qualcomm components, according to Bloomberg. The new agency said Apple's SVP of hardware technologies Johny Srouji announced the step in an employee meeting.
