Apple to appeal jury order to pay USD 506 mln to Optis in patent suit

A Texas federal jury has ordered Apple to pay Optis Wireless Technology more than USD 506 million for willfully infringing patents covering LTE technology with its mobile devices. Apple said it would appeal the decision.
