Apple to boost dividend annually

Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced the company will be boosting its dividend annually, Bloomberg reported. Cook made his remarks at the company's annual shareholder meeting in Cupertino, California. Apple paid out USD 2.08 a share in dividends in the past year, a yield of 2.14 percent, among the smallest in the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The company has more than USD 200 billion in cash.
