Apple waives app commission for online events until year-end

Apple is giving some temporary relief to businesses holding online events, waiving its 30 percent commission on app purchases for the events until year-end. Facebook first announced the news, after earlier pushing Apple to drop the charge for businesses organising live events over the Facebook app.
