Apple warns shareholders about higher taxes in Ireland

Apple warned shareholders in its annual 10-K filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission that it could be forced to payer higher taxes in the future in various jurisdiction. "Due to economic and political conditions, tax rates in various jurisdictions may be subject to significant change," Apple wrote, adding that the European Commission could require Ireland to recover past taxes that may be considered to have constituted state aid.
