Apple wins sales ban on Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7
Apple has won a European sales ban against Samsung's Galaxy Tab 7.7, business magazine Wirtschaftswoche reported. On 24 July, the regional court in Dusseldorf issued a EU-wide sales ban on the tablet computer. However, Apple was denied a sales ban for Samsungs's Tab 10.1N. Samsung had modified its Tab 10.1 tablet for the German market after Apple won an earlier patent infringement case against the device. The court found the changes Samsung made to be sufficient.

German court rejects request to ban Galaxy 10.1N tab sales

Apple has lost another appeal with German courts to ban sales of the Samsung Galaxy 10.1N tablet, Bloomberg reports. The Munich Higher Regional Court has rejected an appeal of a lower court ruling in February, which threw out a request from Apple to block sales of the tablet as well as the Galaxy Nexus smartphone for violating its patents. In an e-mailed statement, Samsung accused its rival of 'trying to limit consumer choice and discourage innovation through their excessive and flawed legal arguments'.
